A Night Under The Sea

March 25, 2016

I was so excited when the Georgia Aquarium asked Ian and I to preview its new exhibits and celebrate its 10th Anniversary. When Ian and I first started dating around 7 years ago, we went to the aquarium for a date day. I hadn’t been back since. It was such a fun date night and exactly what we needed to break up our busy week.

The new Sea Lion show (opening March 31st) was incredibly entertaining and a lot of fun. It brought back many memories of our trip to San Fransisco where we sat staring at the Sea Lions at Pier 225 for about a half hour, listening to them scream and wallow around. It was also incredible to hear that all of the Georgia Aquarium sea lions at the exhibit were rescues! After the show was complete, we ate some delicious food and made our way to the new AT&T Dolphin Presentation. It was a pretty impressive show.

The night ended so perfectly with gorgeous cheese, meat and dessert trays as we strolled through an empty aquarium and saw the other exhibits. Ian said I was like a kid in Disney World the whole time. Although I am pretty terrified of the ocean, everything was so magnificent. The complexity and beauty of it is overwhelming.

Thank you so much to the Georgia Aquarium for such an incredible night and Happy 10th Anniversary!!
