One of my favorite traditions every year is to go to the pumpkin patch. We started doing it before we had children, and now it’s even more fun watching Cove want every kind of pumpkin they have! You can see years past here and here.
This past weekend we found a new pumpkin patch to visit that had farm animals, hay rides, bounce houses, ice cream / snacks, and lots of pumpkins varieties. I love the Fairytale and Casperia pumpkin ones, so it was just perfect.
Cove had so much fun this year and wanted to take all the pumpkins home. I told Ian we have to go to more than one patch this year because it was so fun, so we may end up having a whole lot of pumpkins in our backyard by the end of the season. We picked out a small one for the baby and Cove got to pick out his own. It was really a sweet experience.
So, we’re only a few weeks from Halloween, and I am drawing a blank on Halloween costumes… Actually, I’ve come up with a lot of ideas, but Cove is not a fan of dress up this year. I think he may enjoy it in years to come, but bulky costumes are not his thing right now. I’d love to hear some of your ideas. I’m totally game for a family costume too! Ian and I have liked dressing up together in years past, as long as I’m not making him prince charming, haha.
I hope you are all having a great week. You can shop my sweater here and the rest of my outfit details below.
