Victoria can attest to this, but I’m not always easy to shop for. While I do have a list somewhere with cool gadgets and things I like, when it comes to occasions or the holidays, I typically prefer a good meal, a trip to the movies and some quality time with her and Cove. But, when Victoria sent me a link to JORD Wood Watches, I have to admit, I got a little giddy.
You see, I’m not really a timepiece kind of guy. I’m not sure why, but when it comes to the millions of wristwatch choices out there, nothing really excites me. Even with how involved I am in the digital / tech world, the Apple Watch to me is still just a “nice-to-have” and I don’t have one yet because it doesn’t excite or make my life easier. So when it comes to my every day, I don’t wear a watch because there’s nothing unique out there that has caught my eye… Until the other day…
I’m a hobbyist when it comes to woodworking. I’m not terrible at building things with wood, but I’m also not particular good or attentive to details like you should be. I just enjoy using my hands to make things… That is why the first thing that caught my eye with JORD Wood Watches was how everything is carved out of wood, minus the intricate face and parts. Granted, wood watches have been around for a few years, but when I received mine last week, what made me fall in love was the care, attention to detail and quality of the wristwatch. Everything from the clasp to the packaging it came in, I was hooked and have worn it almost every day since.
So, in addition to our Ultimate Shop Small Christmas List Guide, I wanted to highlight JORD Wood Watches, and specifically my favorite, the Conway Walnut & Jet Black, with a special $25 e-gift code! If you’re looking for that last special gift for your guy (or girl, because there are some incredible watches for the ladies too), then look no further my friends! To use the e-gift code, simply follow the link here before December 19, 2016, and fill out the form. JORD will then send you the gift card!
