This past week was so busy, and I often don’t know how time flies by so fast. We did squeeze some time in to go out as a family and be together just the three of us before Cove’s bedtime. I never like complaining about things being busy because I’ve realized they always will be. At least until we retire, and even then I don’t know if we’ll want to slow down. I also don’t want to live in a state of mind where I’m always drained and complaining about things being busy. You know those people, every time you ask them how they are doing they say “busy” with that low moan in there voice. Even if I respond “we’re busy”, I hope it’s with a smile, because I’m blessed to have a family, job and activities to make it that way. I want to accept things as they come and make time for what’s really important, even if there’s a lot of other things to get done.
I recently had the opportunity to try some outfits from Kestan. I’ve always loved when clothes are made from organic cotton, because they’re so soft, so when I saw this not so basic geo tee, I thought it would definitely fit my casual lifestyle. I paired it with a denim cut-off skirt I picked up last fall and these heeled booties from Guilty Soles. I love the chunky heel on them. And as always, I’m wearing one of my favorite local artists’ block necklace from The Curly Haired Fox.
We’ve got some really exciting things coming to TST this summer, and I’m trying really hard to keep my lips sealed about them. Hopefully in the next few weeks I can give you guys a sneak peek. Until then, I hope you guys have a wonderful day!
