Ever since we got our new Joovy Caboose Too, Cove has been dying to take it out for a stroll. Normally 3-4 times a week, we go for walks around the neighborhood in his Radio Flyer tricycle. Since the double stroller came though, he just wants to be pushed in that. He actually ate his breakfast in it one morning. I have this sweet picture of him in the living room with a blanket draped over him, eating at his tray. It reminded me of a sweet old man in a wheelchair having a cup of coffee.

Since he has been enjoying it so much, we decided to bring it on our family date night a few weekends ago. I had to run into Ikea for some odd and ends, so we ended up in Westside Provisions (my favorite) for a quick stroll, watched the train and some burgers & fries. It was actually ironic because just two years ago, Ian and I were eating tacos in Westside when I was 18 weeks pregnant (like I am in the pictures above), so we had fun reminiscing and talking about how much sweeter it is to have Cove with us now.

I have to say this stroller is pretty great. For a double, it is a lot lighter than I expected, and there are so many different ways to tote two babies around. In the pictures above, you can see the most standard way, which I chose for this outing so I could store all my Ikea goods instead of having to push a crazy cart. Anyone else feel like their carts go a little AWOL on you sometimes?!

I didn’t have the sunshade on, but it does come with one. You can also use it when you have an infant in a car seat with their adapter, and Cove can ride in the back facing me or stand on the board and hold himself up while I push. There is a lot of room for storage too. The tray is so handy and the parent storage on the handlebars is perfect for all those drinks I have to carry with me, hah. Plus, the price is pretty unbelievable when it comes to a double stroller. You can see more here.

The last few pictures are some of my favorites. I know it may sound silly, but I was just sitting there watching the sunset with my boys eating a burger and fries thinking how I was just the luckiest girl in the world. Fries with my guys is way better than fries before guys, am I right?

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and let me know if I can answer any questions about the stroller. Can’t wait to have a little man in there with Cove soon!
